I will start off by saying I have fond childhood memories of the original G.I. Joe cartoons. That being said, I give this movie a 2 out of 5. I think it was an ok summer movie, but it is not G.I Joe.

This movie could have easily been a success not just for me, but for lots of fans. The actors did decent job, but I had a few problems with it that just killed the movie for me.
- Delta 6 Accelerator Suits – I know G.I Joe went some strange places, but couldn’t they start with the basics. Real military hero’s.
- Snake Eyes had a mouth on his mask – First they give the transformers lips now Snake Eyes. I found this stranger then giving the Transformers lips.
- Cover Girl Dies – It seamed like a meaningless death.
- To much a toy commercial – It seamed like they were trying to get more things out there then needed to be. From subs, to planes, to people. It seamed jarring to have that many thing introduced at once.
- Cobra Commanders mask- I am old school
It would have been nice if they worked some military items from the different nations better. I realize they can not call it Real American Heroes, but it would have been cool to see the Joe’s Countries flag on each. Maybe i missed it.
